About our Ceramics

 

 

 We both have a passion for ceramics after spending many combined years working in the pottery industry. 

All our pieces are hand made using different techniques. The majority of our ceramics are made using the method of slip-casting which allows us to create uniform ceramic bodies using a liquid clay and pouring this into plaster molds... many of which we have made ourselves.  We also craft unique ornaments such as our ceramic bows by hand building. These ceramic pieces are often more organic in form as our hands are heavily used in the process. Once we have created the body of our piece it is then bisque fired and ready for decoration. You will see a theme of pink and red florals and blue botanicals in the illustrations of our ceramics. Once decorated they are then carefully glazed and fired for a final time. 

Our designs draw inspiration from the flora and fauna that flourish in our gardens. Bringing the beauty of nature into your home through carefully crafted ceramics.

We hope to continue to expand our ceramic ranges with some wheel thrown ceramics coming in the near future.
